I have been a patient of Bonnie’s for 4 years. I have always been very self conscious of my complexion beginning in my teens. I simply don’t have great skin. I have been a flight attendant for a major airline for 20 years, and standing in front of a crowd for hours on end knowing they have nothing to focus on but you can be difficult.

Bonnie wants to know what is important to you and what you want to accomplish. She listens and evaluates your wants and concerns to come up with a plan of action. She is always honest about what you can expect from every aspect of treatment. My skin has never looked better.

She is a leader in the field and I trust her implicitly. With Bonnie you get it all: the latest in medical cosmetology, the expertise with which to carry it out, and the warm nurturing atmosphere that is so often missing in a clinical setting.

I have been a patient of Bonnie’s for over 3 years. Never have I had such easy treatments as Botox and fillers with incredibly NO pain and such a smooth, fresh and youthful result. I have even finally heeded her warnings and have been using my sunblock religiously since she reversed the rather extensive sun damage on my face. She knows what my skin needs and she provides education for the products she prescribes and why they are what I need. Though I live in Linwwod New Jersey, I will always make the trip to see Bonnie because no one else can touch me.

I first met Dr. Bonnie Marting ARNP more than two years ago, after deciding that I definitely needed some “work” done on my face. I knew that I did not want any facial surgery. Bonnie patiently answered all of my questions, and even told me which products and procedures were either not right for me or simply unnecessary. At the time that struck me as remarkable — someone in this industry who was trying to slow me down and sell me less! Bonnie finds exactly the right combination and sequence of products and procedures to produce the best results for MY face. What a different approach from the other providers who have their own routines and preferences.

Each time I saw Bonnie, she worked painstakingly like a sculptor, stepping back frequently to look at my face from multiple angles, taking her time to decide EXACTLY where, which product, and just how much to place with each separate injection. Often Bonnie works with a long range plan; if she tightens up or fills a particular area, then she might, for example, be picturing that result two months forward and what she would do later on to further improve on the previous work. I always have confidence that Bonnie is comfortably working her way through a process, rather than a single visit “quick fix”. Her approach yields very subtle, natural, and wonderful results.

The results that we have obtained so far are really spectacular. I no longer feel that I need a face lift. The entire droopy, sagging and jowly appearance that I was so self-conscious of is gone. All of the hollow areas in my face — due to both aging and weight loss — have been gradually filled. Virtually all of the different lines in my face are either gone, or greatly diminished. When I look in the mirror, or at the old photographs that both Bonnie and I have taken along the way, I cannot believe the improvement.

This leads neatly right into everyone’s big question: “Do the shots hurt?” In my experience, no — not at all. The truth is, the shots really don’t hurt, and the few that are given into deeper tissue are preceded by a small injection of anesthetic. The whole process is both quick and relatively painless.

I fully intend to be using facial fillers instead of plastic surgery as a permanent solution. It’s a nice feeling to know that, unlike facial plastic surgery, these results are extremely predictable. If there is an area that is not filled as much as you had envisioned, or if one side seems a bit fuller after the fillers settle (neither of which has happened with Bonnie), it is a small adjustment to make everything perfect. Bonnie is truly the best, for her training, her technical skill, her artistic sensibility, her painless techniques, her bedside manner, and her sincere warmth when dealing with her many patients.
