Brand For Confidence

Get Started on Your Brand

With the week-end over (don’t worry, since week-ends recur, they are never really “over”), today is the perfect day to regroup and face challenges anew. And we well know, challenges come in all shapes and sizes. There are ways to make this easier.

Decide what your “brand” looks like today. Last Friday we talked about creating your brand for confidence and success. Start to fine-tune your concepts of who you are, or who you would like to be. Pick one thing every week and focus on that one thing that you want to see added, changed, altered, eliminated, or expanded. Pick only one thing. Keep it close to your thoughts throughout the week.

Maybe you want to be a person who: is never late, is always faultlessly made up, always has glowing skin, always feels confident, is ready for the next curve ball, makes getting exercise a priority, has decided it is time to finally lose those 10 extra pounds, is a thin, fit person, always wants to leave their last personal encounter on a high note, etc, etc… Whatever your most pressing desire, decide that this will be the week you will take one, and only one of the probably many (if you are like most folks) goals you would like to achieve, and put it on the dashboard of your life. Don’t worry about conflicting goals (there are so many things I would like to change!) because just as the week-ends reappear, so does Monday.

If for example, you wish to be ready for the frequent curve balls you are thrown during the week, take this idea, and practice the curves. On Monday, just pick some possible curves that would fluster you. Keep them in your thoughts. When you go to bed Monday night, think heavily about it, then set it afloat in your mind, then reel it in in the morning. Imagine any type of curve-ball you can (related to your work, family, relationship, or whatever is important to you) and confront it in your imagination. Work out the details. Change it until it works for you. Repeat this until you feel confident. This is truly where practice makes all the difference.

From Dr. Bonnie:

When first meeting, my patients tell me they want to look younger, and we talk about their concerns.  For most its a sense of not looking as “fresh” as they used to.  As we continue to talk, I find many are under incredible stress,  and it’s aging them beyond their real years.  They’re aware of the pressure, and maybe even of the toll it’s taking. Unfortunately, its not easy to figure out how to get off this energy draining treadmill that’s  sabotaging their chance to look great.

I ‘ve discovered three common problems that almost all of these patients share, and even went so far as to prepare three separate videos, which have become  my “prescriptions”.  Each deals with a different problem and shows step-by-step how to eliminate them from your life.

I would love to share them with you, and there is no charge. The first is titled “The Dirty Little Secret of Multi-Tasking” and as the title may hint, Multi-Tasking is not helping us save time nor get things done faster.

You will also begin receiving My Beauty Tip of The Week every Friday. In it I discuss things just like in the article above and can answer your questions, should you want to ask. It’s also free and you can unsubscribe at any time.

I look forward to hearing from you.
